  4.   The Total Calc facility can be found in the Extra Window.  To use this 
  5.   facility, type ALT F8, then push "T" for Total Calc. 
  6.  
  7.   Mind Reader will calculate subtotal, total and grand totals for a column 
  8.   of figures.  To use this function follow these steps: 
  9.  
  10.   1.  Enter the numbers you're adding using the decimal tab at ALT F7.
  11.       You must use the decimal tab in order to add.  If necessary mark the 
  12.       tabset-bar with the decimal tab after the numbers have been inserted 
  13.       into the text. 
  14.  
  15.   2.  Type the word SUBTOTAL, TOTAL, or GRAND TOTAL on the line below the
  16.       column of figures you want added.
  17.  
  18.   3.  Mark the entire block of figures and total lines using ALT F9.
  19.  
  20.   4.  Press ALT F8, type T, and press ENTER.
  21.  
  22.   Mind Reader will automatically total the columns of figures and insert 
  23.   the totals at the appropriate lines.
